The Lost Happy by Kay de Lautour

Little Sunshine has woken up in a terrible mood. Her Happy had disappeared and there was a big, loud Angry inside her.

It’s just as well her mother found a great idea to help little Sunshine find her Happy again.

Written for ages 2 – 8 and printed in black and white line drawings ready to colour, The Lost Happy is sure to help your little one find the missing Happy on a prickly, noisy, Angry day.

This story not only acknowledges that sometimes children do wake feeling angry or upset for no apparent reason, but also helps them to see that the way out of the mood is simply hiding, waiting for them to find it.  As the story progresses there is provision for the young reader to draw details in Little Sunshine’s room to make the story (and the discovery) their own.
